The barque Pelham arrived from Greyjnouth yesterday with a cargo of coal. The barque Onyx arrived from Wellington yesterday afte-noon. The schooner Maud Graham arrived yesterday from Wellington. The s_- Wakatu leaves to-day for KaijEOura and Wellington. j The Union Company's Manapouri passed j a. large ship bound south off Cape Runaway on the 22nd—no doubt the Opawa, bound to this port Irom Auckland. The brigantine Pelican arrived from ZJupara yesterday. The Union Company's Taiaroa leaves today'for Wellington. The schooner Annie Wilson arrived from Xaipara yesterday, timber laden. The barque Killarney arrived from Newcastle yesterday morning after a passage of 17 dags. She left Newcastle on the 9th inst., with fresh N.E. winds; on the 20th had fresh S.W. wind for two days, which gradually came round to the N.W., and increased to half a gale; passed through the Straits on the 23rd, with a high sea runaims. Gn Sunday morning waa in company with the barques Onyx and Examiner off the Kaikoura. In the evening the wind shifted to the S.W., and increased toa gale, -with a heavy cross sea. On Monday morning the wind moderated, aad had light northerly winds to arrival. She brings 656 tons coal for Messrs Kaye and Carter, and was berthed at No. 6 wharf.
