In the case of the Calcutta Tea Association v Joseph Webßter and Co., for imitating the plaintiff's label, the District Court fined the defendants, and in default of payment rendered them liable to distraint and imprisonment.
MELBOURNE, December 30.
In the intercolonial cricket match today, the Victorians concluded their first innings with a total of 420, of which Scott contributed 114. The visitors then commenced their second innings, and were aU d-posed of for 143. The match wiU be resumed on Monday, when the home team commences their second innings, requiring 139 runs to win the match.
