RUSSEL'S FLAT SCHOOL.
TO THB EDITOB O_T THB FBXBB. Sib, —On looking over your issue of the 20th re BusseU's Flat school inquiry, I find that Mr Mayhew is reported to have satisfactorily explained his actions with regard to the management of the school. Now, Sir, I wish to be informed how it is that the attendance is reduced to about half what it was three months ago. Several of the parents have absolutely refused to send their children to the school. I am very much surprised at the conduct of the Chairman of Committee. Before the inquiry took place he was very busy urging on people to lodge complaints against the master, and apparently doing all he could against him. He now informs Mr Yeel that he was well satisfied with the way the master had conducted the school. Yours, &c., T. Russell's Flat, December 26th.
