♦ BANK OF NEW ZEALAND v UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA. The annual match between the above banks came off yesterday, resulting in a win for the latter by one innings and 31 runs. For the winners Mr Palmer played a capital innings of 67, whUe Mr CotteriH ably backed him up with an innings of 39.
