UNITED C.C.C. v ADDINGTON C.C.
The second match between these two clubs began on Saturday, and the afternoon's play resulted much in favor of the U.C.C.C. The Addington men went in first, and only put together 53. Of this number W. Ogier made 11, Gi Wheatiey 12, and C. Taylor 14. None of the others entered double figures. The U.C.C.C. men scored 172 with tie loss of six wickete. W. J. Cotterill made 70, not out, in excellent style; T. D. Harninn 20, H.R.Matthias 34, and A. Longden 33. The play, on the part of U.C.C.C. was pretty free throughout.
