Sib, —As an impression is said to hare got about that the present licensing committees in the various districts are elected for three years, it may be information to some to learn that the term of office is one year only. The next Licensing Committee elections will take place nert February, according to the Act, due notice of which, will be given by the returning officer for each, district. A lute amendment to the Act requires that the Borough or City Council shall appoint a person to the office of returning officer in its own district. Yours, &c, ~.'--■ - Bbacow.
