Easiness in tbe grain market during tbe past week bas not exceeded that of the preceding one, but prices continue firm, and good samples of wheat find ready purchasers at 4.6dto_4a9d according to quality and place of delivery; whilst for good clean Tuscan 3d par bushel more money is obtainable. Flour is in fair trade request at __1- 10s per ton f o.h. The oat market continues quiet, buyers offering 3., and aellers seeking 3d to 6d per bushel more money, whichquiteat-pabu.iaessforthemoment.Doubt-lesa the-f rosty weather we are now experiencing will cause an increase of the local demand. Good samples of malting barley are enquired for at 4s 6d,'but medium and low grades continue neglected, except at very moderate prices. Pataloes continue to command a brisk business at from 35s to 37s 6d per ton, according to place of delivery, Farmers should now use extra care in seeing that they are protected from present severe frosts, and that the fine condition in which bo far potatoes have been delivered is fully maintained. Butter continues in fair demand at 10d to lid, and a moderate business has been done in che?se at 4f A to 54. .
