Dunkdin, May 23. Cittls and grain markets —The supply of fat cattle to day was meagre, bat the trade was poorly represented, and bidding was slow at' last weak'e rates, namely, 20s to 82s per hundred, la fat sheep the competition was languid, and last week's rates were scarcely mainfcained. To-day's quotation for mutton is 2*d p«lb. Grain—Wheat cf a prime description contiano3 in Rood demand at last week's quotations, at which sales could be readily made, but eeveral parcels are being held in expectation of a fmther improvement. For medium and inferior the inquiry has to some extent slackened. We quote—prime milling, 4s 8d ; medium, 4s to 4s 63 ; inferior and tewl feed, 2s 6d to 3s 9d. Cats —The demand for gopd bright milling oats hsa been a little more active during the week, sad it is quoted up to Sβ 2d for this description; 3s to 3s Id for bright fee 3, and 2» lOd to Sβ for inferior and discolored. Barley—The inquiry is sot active, but a xeally good sample of malting oaa ba placed without difficulty at up to 5s ; medium, 4s to 4s 8d; esd inferior, 2s 9d to 8s per bushel.
