A speoial meeting was held on the 12th Dioember. All the members present. Messrs King, McLean, and others waited on tbe Board re construction of breakwater at Leithfield. Besolved—" That the Board contribute £1 to every £ collected, and that the surveyor meet the deputation at a date to be named by them." Tenders for contracts 110,113,114, and 117 were accepted.: Contracts 111, 115, 116, and 118 were deferred, there not being more than one tender in fer each. Mr McAdam attended on the Board re tbe sparrow question. _He was requested to wait on the Board at nine o'clock on Monday, January 2nd. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on the same day at twelve noon. The Board then adjourned.
