The stone from Kolmar Quarry is of a clear warm white color, fine, close, and compact in the grain, and, being from a seam of the same formation as the Mount Somers stone, will be found to display all the characteristics of durability and strength which the Mount Somers stone is so well known to possess. The supply is practically inexhaustible, 20 acres being the area of stone approachable from the surface, while the cliff by the creek ride shows 120 ft high of Btone.
