The Hobart whalers, Sapphire and Maria Lovrrie, were in Half Moon Bay on Sunday last. The b.b. Waitaki arrived yesterday at 2 p.m. fram Dunedin, and left for the North in the evening. The B.s. Arawata arrived at 7 30 a.m. from Wellington, and left for the South and Melbourne in the afternoon. Tfee COS. Hinemoa arrived from Wellington at 1.20 p m. yesterday with the Governor and party. She will remain here awaiting the orders of hU Excellency. The new steam launch Waiwera has abandoned the.Rhodes Bay service, and henceforth, in addition to her open hire services, will run regularly to Governor's Bay. Tho fearqae Sunbeam, Captain Thompson, completed a good round voyage to Algoa Bay and Calcutta on Monday night. The exact time occupied was seven months and six days for the voyage. The voyage to & Igoa Bay was made in fifty-nine days. Twenty-five days were, through stress of weather, spent there, and the run up to Calcutta took thirty-seven days. The passage from Calcutta represents seventy-one days, which, with twenty-four days' stay at that port, makes up for the vessel's absence.
