As th c ship Fareora, bound for Auckland, was in the Downs she was obliged to slip her anchors in order to avoid collision with another vessel, by whom she would inevitably have been run down. A severe storm, accompanied with heavy thunder and lightning, was experienced here yesterday, during which two persons were struck by lightning, and killed instantaneously. December 8. Mr Parnell, who is confined in Kilmainham gaol, is reported to be ill.
