The schooner Clematis, Captain Johnston, went aahrr e on Sunday evening, about a quarter of a mile below the South Spit. She was timber ladan, with 54,800 ft for Bobins and Day. The vessel is owned by Mr Duncan, of Pioton, and is nai-sm-ed. The cargo waa insured for J6ISQ •with the Victoria Company., The vesae-was in an easy position-fl Monday evening, and is exit—ted to be got off. An enquiry will elicit the cause of the accident.
