The Customs duties collected at Christchnrch on Thursday, November 21th, were as follows :■*- Spirits, £376 Oβ 7d; tobacco, £819s 3d; cigars, £63 12s 8d; wine,- £56 iSs; tea, £119 2s 4d; ad valorem, £107 ss; other duties, £7 8s 7d. Total, £8U 16s Sd.
At the sittings of the Waste Lands Board held at Ghristchurch on November 24th, sales were made as follows:—Ordinary—Ashley, Ir3sp; Ashbnrton, 23a 2r SSp; Geraldine, 3a; Waimate, 20a; borough of Ashburton, 3r; town of Arowhenua, la 2r; village settlement;, 5a 2r. Total acreage sold, 54a 3r33p. Total cash received, £362 6s 3d.
