MR. O'NEILL AT ADDINGTON.
Mr O'Neill addressed the electors at Mr Baber'e grain store, Addington, on Friday last, Mr F. M. Walker being in the ohair. Hβ defined the term Conservative, quoting from dictionaries in order to show the meaning of the term, and contended that it was necessary to have a Conservative party in New Zealand. He then vent through the prinoipal topics of hie speech at Merivale, and avowed himself a strong supporter of the Hall Government, and stated that eleotora mutt chooee between that Government and the Grey party. On the motion of Mr Bain, seconded by Mr Neok, a vote of thanks WAS given to Mr O'JSeill for his address.
