MATSON & CO. have received instructions from Mr Wm. No. 1 is a grand Corner Section, 1 rood 23 perchee, upon Lake Terrace, facing the lake and sea, and admirably suited for a large Family Hotel or Boarding House. The same applies to Nos. 29, 33, 44, and 45. All corner sections fronting the sea and lake. The following also have the same frontage—Nos. 46, 39, 41, 42, 43, and 29, but all the other sections may be said to be equally advantageous, from their excellent position. This charming spot is situated, by LAKE FORSYTH AND THE SEA, At the end of the Ninety Mile Beach and Canterbury Plains, And where the picturesque eloping GREEN HILLS OF THE PENINSULA Commence/at the outflow of Lake Forsyth into the sea, commanding rare and charming views both by sea and land. The Lake affords a great variety of amme- *» ments, such as PISHING, SHOOTING, BOATING, YACHTING, SWIMMING, And possesses a climate that will attract visitors from every part of New Zealand. This will doubtless be the FASHIONABLE WATERING PLACE, And will be eagerly resorted to by families anxious for a complete change from the heat and dust of the towns, and the monotony of the country. Besides the the charming views on every side, great interest and amnsement will be found in collecting the curious, many-colored pebbles which abound on the sea shore. To invalids, or persons in weak health this will indeed be a great boon. The present terminus of the LITTLE RIVER RAILWAY Is but five minutes' walk n> the Township, where sawn timber for building, and firewood, are accumulating in large quantities. THE RECREATION RESERVE Is close to the Township. To tho'e who take pleasure in picturesque rambles, beautiful views, and delightful shady picnics, the beautiful slopes on the Akaroa road will give them all they can desire. Oahua and Ikoraki bays, with the Ninety Mile Beach, will afford a pleasing variation. There can be no doubt that Seaforth possesses all the qualifications for a highly popular and thriving township, and it must necessarily rise into great preeminence, for it has not its equal in all New Zealand. Beside its great advantages as a place of residence, it will receive greatly increased value from its close proximity to the Railway Station, which must become a large depot for all the wool, grain, timber, and other produce of the whole district. Whalers are seen in the season, and the whole coast and Jbeach teems with fish of all kinds. All the Sections are carefully pegged out by the Surveyors, Messrs Mclntjre and Lewis. A charming water-color drawing has been made of the township and scenery, whioh is photographed and attached to the lithographic plans. A large colored plan has been prepared, and can be seen at the Auctioneers, where lithographic plans can be obtained. There are Three Good Buildings on the property, lately occupied by Sir M. Iβ Fleming and B. Ensor, Esq. In order that intending pnrchaßers may visit this charming spot, and judge for themselves, it is proposed in a short time to organise an excursion, leaving in the morning, and returning to Ohristchurch in the evening. The plan is approved and deposited. Most flattering paragraphs have appeared from time to time in our local newspapers of this really delightful spot, and the Auctioneers anticipate an eager demand for the Sections when offered.
