The barque Freetrader, Captain G. Mc Arthur, ■was loading at Hobart fer this port on the 10th instant. . The B.s. Si. Kilda arrived on Monday night from Wangaoui, and left yesterday for Dated in. The steamship Norfolk, heie some time since, from London, is expected to leave Home again for this port.*this month it is said. The B.s. Star of the Sonth arrived from Greynsouth yesterday with a cargo of coal for Mr C. W. rtuner. She is to leave to-day for the West Cosst via Wellington. The Island City hence arrived at Newcastle on December 29th, and sailed on January Ist for here. The elalay arrived at Newcastle on January 3rd. The George Thornton for Westport, the Fawn for Newcastle, end the Speedwell for Kaipexa, wera in the stream last evening awaiting a | a change of wind. The Loch Cree, from this port, Capt. Jones, arrived at San Francisco on November IBtb, after a good passage of 54 days. She was loaded on the 29th of November ifor Qa°enstown. The Orari for this port sailed from Deal November 28th, and the Alastor for Wellington next day; the Sydenham for Auckland on November 28th. The Oamara for Otago left London on December let.
