The following message was received at 3.5 ajn.— [BKUTHB'S TBHSeBAHB.J Londoh, April 22. Cape Town, Bth.—Lord Chelmsf ord'a camp at GKngholora was repeatedly attacked by 11,000 Zulus at daybreak on the 3rd. They were repulsed with heavy loss. Lord Chains* ford relieved Ekowe on the night of the 4th The total British loss was 220. Bkowe haa been evacuated. Colonel Pearson is returning to Tergela. The Boers threaten to invest Pretoria and retain Sir Bartle Frere unless their demand is granted.
