In the Victorian Legislative Council, Sir C. Sladen has given notice to move a new clause in the Reform Bill to reduce the qualinoation for members to freehold property value £125, instead of £250. Mr Anderson has given notice that the number of members shall be forty, end the provinces increased to eight. In Adelaide Mr Boucaut moves that the land tax be 6d in the £ on the value. Ay readjustment of the Custom duties ensues immediately. The Kapuiida, Rabbit Preserving Company shipped 42.0001b5.0f rabbit flesh by the Cuzoo, and sends 61,0001 be. by the Aconcagua. In Queensland good gold prospects are reported from the Palmer diggings.
