Meantime, however, flour is moving for tmde purposes at £12 12s 6il to £12 15s nett. At auction thi3 forenoon, there was little done, bnt subsequently twenty tons, sold privately, realised £12 15s. Wheat is much wanted, and 5s 19d is offered freely for immediate delivery, and even more money has been paid. Under the hummer a small parcel of medium quality wes disposed of at 5s 9d. All feeding grains are advancing in value. We learn of the quittance of 500 begs common Tasmftnian oats at 4s 6d; for fine samples of feeding, 4s 8d and 4s 9d can be got, while holders at 5s are increasing. Feeding barley has been quitted as high as 4s BJd. Maize has fnrther improved; sales have been made at the extreme figure Sf 6s 6d, while at the close of business hours even 6s 0d was realized, and this rate is likely to be the current figure to-morrow. There is little or no stock, however, on hand. The price in Sydney has gone up to 5s 4d: Sugars are quiet. Corneacks have a cood trade inquiry; about 75 bales in one instance have been sold in parcels at very f nil ratee. Sales of Bass's new bnlk ale are making very staidily in trade parcels at £9. English telegrams continue to advise light shipments of brandy for this port.
