Passenger*—W, Perry. SAILED. Dec 21—Onward, schooner, 69 tons, for Oamara. in ballast. The barque Hopeful was beached at Dampier's Bay yesterdayto be cleaned. The ship Merope took on board more than 200 bales yesterday. She will go into the stream 00 Thursday, the Larigstone taking her place to discharge her inward cargo. Th» fore-and-aft schooner Onward, Captain BußselT sailed yesterday for Oamaru in ballast. The brig Clematis was on the berth at Hobart Town foi Lyttelton when the barque Natal Queen left, and was to have left a day or so after that vessel. She may therefore be looked for hourly. The new s.s. Arawata (with the Kngli«h Suez mail) is expected to arrive in harbor this morning. She is irom Melbourne via South. The Arawata is notified to leave Lyttelton this evening for Melbourne via North.
