+ SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. j Tuesday, Decembee 21. | Before his Honor Mr Justice Johnston.J His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. GILMOUR V BRTJCE. Mr Joynt applied for an order for leave to enter up judgment in this case. Mr Cowlishaw, for defendant, had obtained an order for leave to plead instanter, demurrer to be entered for argument on 7th January next; issues to be settled immediately after argument on demurrer; trial by special jury. After some argument, Mr O'Neill's motion was not moved, and an order was made in terms of that obtained by Mr Cowlishaw as above, Mr Joynt's costs to be paid by defendant on both applications. BE JOHN BOBEBT COUZENS. The bankrupt in person applied for an order of adjudication and fixing first meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order, fixing first meeting for Thursday, 30th January, at 11 a.m. BE WILL OF JAMES BADDEN, DECEASED. Mr Slater applied for an order granting probate to the widow as sole executrix. His Honor made the order as prayed. The Court then rose.
