MR BLUETT AT ALFORD FOREST.
Mr Bluett met the electors on Tuesday, about forty present. Mr Percy Cox in the chair. He said he hoped those present would give Mr Bluett a fair and impartial hearing. Mr Bluett, on rising, was received with applause, and entered fully into all the most important questions which are now agitating the public mind. He spoke lor about three quarters of an hoar, and on resuming his seat was loudly cheered. A number of: questions were asked, and answered to the apparent satisfaction of all present. Hon W. 8. Peter moved, seconded by Mr Morgan—"That this meeting thanks Mr Bluett for his address, and the manly and straightforward manner in which he has answered the. questions put to him this evening," which was carried unanimously. Mr Bluett proposed.a vote of thanks to the chairman, and the meeting broke up.
