Notice is hereby given teat in pursuance of Clause 16 of the Municipal Corporations Acts Amendment ActrttTS, and Clause 83 of the Municipal Corporation Act, 1867, I hereby give notice thifr the annual ELECTION OF MAYOB will t*W place on the 17th day of DECEMBER, 1876, and I hereby require all Candidates to be Nominated as hereinafter mentioned before the day of Nomination, 6th day of December, at the office of the Town Clerk. Any person desirous of nominating a candidate must do so by leaving at the office of the Town Clerk, before four o'clock on the afternoon of the 6th day of December, a Nomination Paper in the form, or to the effect, given in the ninth Schedule to the said Act of 1857. Such Nomination Paper must be signed by not less than three persons duly qualified to vote at the election, and also by the person named therein as candidate.
