All subscribers of not less than one guinea can enter stock at half •price. 2. All stock exhibited, unless otherwise specified, must be the bona fide property of residents or ratepayers in the Lincoln, Springs, Little Biver, Port Victoria, Courtenay, Templeton, Bast or West Malvern Boad Board districts, and must have been depastured for the last two months in one or other of those districts. a. ah stock to be on the ground by hall past and implements by nine o'clock, on. -£ne moraine o£ cna snow. 4. All servants in charge of stock admitted free; a pan ticket will be given at time of entry. 5. Exhibitors will be required to state, as accurately as possible, at the time of entry, the name of the breeder of all stock entered if known, the date of birth of all stock in classes where the age is specified ; and in classes of sheep the date of last shearing. 7. Pedigree of all thorough-bred horses must be deposited with the secretary at the time of making entry. 8. The same animal cannot be entered in two classes; bat this shall not apply to private prizes. 9. No stock or implements exhibited to be removed from the yard nntii three o'clock on the day of Show, without a special order from the secretary. 10. The committee will not under any circumstances hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of stock or implements exhibited at the Show. 11. In all the classes where two or more prizes have been awarded, the judges are directed to "commend," or "highly commend," the other exhibits worthy of these distinctions;

12. In the event of there being no competition in any class, no prise will be given unless the judges certify to particular merit. 13. Judges of stock in arriving at their decisions are directed not to give undue weight to high condition (except in the classes for Fat Stock), but to award the prizes to the animals in each class which they consider best represent the particular breed or description intended to be encouraged. 14. Extra Stock—lmplements, articles of local manufacture, &c, not eligible under any of the enumerated classes, may be exhibited on paying one-half of the nana 1 entrance fee ; and prizes will be awarded for such as, in the opinion of the judges, poasess merit. The maximum number of sheep in a pen shall be five, in the wool; or ten, recently shorn, and exhibitors may be required to find their own pens. ' 15. All protests must be in writing, and left'with the secretary before two o'clock on the day of the show, and the committee will settle the same upon the ground when' practicable. A protsat card will be supplied by the committee, to be affixed to the pen of the exhibitor who makes the protest, and any , person making a protest shall accompany it with a fee of half a guinea, and in case of the protest being considered in the eyes of the committee frivolous, the same shall be forfeited. 16. Stock for sale to be entered and subject to the same conditions as extra stock. Gates open to the public from 10 a.m. Admission, 2s 6d ; after twelve o'clock, one shilling. Auction sales will not be permitted to commence before 2 o'clock p.m. All entrances to be made with the Hon Sec, Mr.W. A. Murray, Lincoln, on or before Wednesday, the 27 tU October (or till the 28th October, inclusive, on payment of double fees). No entry can on any consideration be received after the-latter date, and the fees must be paid at the time of making it. AU entries will be strictly private. The receipt lor entrance money must be produced to the gatekeeper, or the stock will not be admitted. The entrance fees for private prizes are the same as those in the class they refer to. W. A.
