Mails close at the Chief Post-office for the following- places, subject to necessary alterations:— For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Omeo, on or about Wednesday, 13th January. Hour of closing in a future notice. For Dunedin. per s.s. Wellington, on Saturday, January 9th inst, at 9.30 a.m. For Wellington, Napier. Auckland, and Fiji, per s.s. Southern Cross, on Wednesday, January 13th inst. Hour of closing in a future notice. For the Chatham Islands, per Magellan-Cloud, on Tuesday, January 12th inst. Hour of closing in a future notice. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, United States, South Central, and British America, West Indies, Unit-'d Kingdom, Continent of Europe, <fee, &c, via San Francisco, per 8.6.
