Sugar—A cargo ex, Kerßchallon ; now offering here, and. another cargo ex Hopeful will be submitted to auction to-day. Both these cargoes come to a good market, and satisfactory rates are looked for. There has been great demand for finest white, for which we quote £38 to £39 ; brewers' crystals, £34 to £35 ; yellow counters, 4*30. Oilmen's stores meet with ready sale at full rates ;'business, mostly con fined to the trade. Candles are in demand at lid to Hid. Several large lines have been placed at these figures. . Tobacco —A moderate business has been done.
