TO THE KJ-ITOlt OP TH. PRESS. Sin, —Will you kindly insert the following few lines for the benefit of the public, of Lyttelton. Aro not the railway officials paid with the money received for rnihvay fares ? Yes. the General Manager included. Well, why does he not act upon the wishes of those who pay those fans .' AVhy. because ho docs not care for either public or Government. Now if I wero one of the Provincial Council I should be wanting to know why ho did not fulfil orders given him. •It seems very hard that people cannot got the worth of their money when they pay it iiway. If I had anything to do with tho matter* I should pride myself in pleasing the public. I will not detain you any longer, but I do most sin-eicly hope that early steps of correction will be taken. Yours, Sec. TIiAVELLEK JIY RAIL. [Our correspondent has forgotten to mention what it is that he wants corrected. — Ed. " Press." J
