POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations :— For Dunedin direct, per the s.s. Taranaki, on Saturday, 26th instant, at 11.45 a.m. As many letters are being posted for the United States stamped at the rate of sixpence the half-ounce, such letters are detained ; the rate via Suez being eightpence per half-ounce.
