Mails close at the Chief Post Office as under, subject to necessary alterations :— For Otago, Southland, and the Australian Colonies, per Rangitoto, on or about Tuesday, 18th February, at 2 p.m. For Timaru only per the s.s. Maori, on or about Monday, the 17th instant, at 2.30 p.m. For Dunedin direct per the s.s. Taranaki, on or about Wednesday, February 19th, at i1.45a.m. The name of the office at Mandeville Plains has been altered to Swannanoa. F. B. WRIGHT, ; ' Chief Postmaster.
