AVON. The annnal meeting of the Board took place on Tuesday. There were present— The chairman (Mr Lame), and Messrs Homer, Dickinson, Cooper, and Searell. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The Clerk reported that since last meeting amounts had been received and placed to the Board's credit in the Bank, viz., subscription for Holly road, £10 ; do from Mr Gonld, for Springfield road, £16 ; foothpath rate, £9 10s; Waimakariri rate, 1871, £1 143 5d ; Waimakariri rate, 1872, £3 Os Id ; general rate of 3d, £2 9s 3d ; refund, £1 ; total, £43 13s 9d.
