FIRST ANNIVERSARY of this Association will be celebrated ou TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17, BY A SOIREE, After which I A PUBLIC MEETING WILL BE HELD, The Rev C. Fraser, M.A., President of the Association in tha Chair, At which the reports for the past year will be submitted, and office-bearers elected for the ensuing year. During the evening several pieces o£ mnsic will be discoursed by the choir of St. Andrews and St Paul's Churches. Barlow's, new 'bus is engaged to convey friends from Christchurch who hold double journey coach tickets, leaving Cobb's Office at half-pact ten (o'clock a.m. f or Springston, ! and returning after the evening's service. A 'bus will possibly run from St. Albans, of which notice will be given. The conductors of the 'busses will be requested to carry none but those who hold coach tickets ; and as only the requisite number are issued to fill the conveyances, visitors should make an early application. Tickets for lunch, Is; Tickets for tea, 2s ; double journey coach tickets, admitting to lunch and tea, 6s ; to be had at the Westeyan Book Depot, Colombo street; and at Mr Salter's, St. Albane.
