WHEREAS by deed of mortgage dated on or about the Ist aav of July ISG9 made between Joseph Culliford therein described of the one part and James Edwin Graham therein also described of tho other part certain leasehold property situated in Colombo and Cashel streets Christchurch comprising a butcher's shnp now in the occupation of the said Joseph Culliford and being portion of Town Reserve No 844 was duly executed by the said Joseph Culliford and now stands "security to the said James Edwin Graham for the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds or thereabouts balance of the principal money originally advanced thereon And whereas the said deed has been neglected to be registered and the possession thereof was some time since obtained from the said James Edwin Graham and whereas since the recent application of the said James Edwin Graham to the Supreme Court in the matter of the said mortgage deed and other title deeds in relation thereto the undersigned have obtained additional eridence as to the actual custody of the said deeds and the circumstances under which the same were obtained from the said James Edwin Graham and are now held but some time must necessarily elapse before further proceedings in relation thereto can be taken Now all persons are hereby cautioned against parting with or accepting the possession of or in any way dealing with the said mortgage or other deeds or any of them.
