TIMABU.—The Herald of the 13th reports: There is no change in the grain marketWheat is still in active demand, and for all kinds of grain our last week's quotations are fully sustained.

OAJIAEU. —The Times of the 10th reports : Wheat shows an upward tendency, present quotation being 4s 2d to 4s 3d. Barley, wanted. Oats, dull of sale at last rates. Flour, £12 10s to £1310s. Oatmeal, pollard, and bran as last quoted.

Wanganui—ln the Chronicle of the 2nd instant —Mr S. Coleman reports the sale of stock at Rangitikei on the 30th ult. Sheep, store, mixed sexes, from 3s 6d to 7s 3d. Store cattle from £1 10s to £3. Fat cows, £5. Horses, light draught and saddle, £3 to £7. About 900 sheep and a few store cattle and horses were sold. Subsequent to the sale there was a good enquiry for stock of all descriptions, and trade is likely to be brisk at remunerative prices throughout the winter.

Auckland. —Bay of Islands coal is quoted as selling in Auckland at 12s per ton for unscreened, and 7s per ton for slack.
