N.B. —TJp to the present time it has been the custom in Christchurch to receive nominations, &c. as valid if bearing the post-mark of the day preceeding the nominations, &c ; . that custom is now discontinued ; all nom'iinations, &c, for these races must be made to the hon. sec. on the days named.
