CORRESPONDENCE.

ST. MICHAEL'S. TO THE EDITOR OP THE PBESS. Sib, —May I ask your indulgence for one more letter on this subject. My remarks at which ''Equality" takes umbrage, apply only to one class, to which, by his letter this morning, he does not belong. 1 consider the question " free seats " entirely a parish matter, and can only be decided at a parish meeting. My reasons for appearing in print at all are, first, to declaim against those who do not attend these meetings and find fault with the decision arrived at, and also to endeavor to induce more to attend. If, therefore, there is an increased attendance at the meeting to-morrow (Wednesday) my object will be gained. I am, yours, &c, Vestryman. Christchurch, April 30, 1872.
