The s.s. Albion sailed for Wellington at noon yesterday. The fine schooner Kaiuma arrived in harbor .yesterday afternoon with a cargo of timber from Hokitika.
The sailing of the s.s. Taranaki has been postponed to Saturday at 11 a.m. She was to leave Wellington at midnight last night. The s.s. Beautiful Star, Captain J. Hart, arrived in ' harbor yesterday at 2.30 p,m. She left Dunedin on Tuesday, the 26tb, at 9 pjn., arrived at Timaru 12.30 p.m. on the 27th; left again at 7.30 p.m. ; arrived at Akaroa at 7 a.m. on Thursday, and left at 8.40 a.m. She - sails on her return trip this day. - - ■ -
