Mr Petersen having had many years colonial experience, is fully cognisant with the wants of this market, and this, together with his. opportunities of purchasing goods direct from the manufacturers, will give them advantages possessed by no othei house in New Zealand, both of obtaining goods at the lowest prices, and also the latest novelties. In the manufacturing department also, although their reputation in this is well known, Mr Petersen's presence in London will enable them to add to their already complete working plant any improvements and patents which may be brought out at home. They would particularly desire to call attention to shipments of jewellery and plate specially selected at home, which arrive per mail steamer via Suez every month. B. P. Sc Co. would advise persons in want of really good watches to inspect their own make patent lever, in silver hunting cases, which are expressly manufactured for this market. They will also be happy to execute indents in the home markets for merchandise, or any commission that may be entrusted to them ; and from Mr Peterson's long connection with this province, and general knowledge of the class of goods required, persons availing , themselves of his services may rely upon their services being carried out to their satisfaction, and the goods either forwarded direct, or shipped with" their own monthly parcel.
