(Per Greville's Telegram Company, Renter's Agents.) Dunedin, Dec. 9. Wheat firmer, 5s to os 3d. Oats have improved in demand, aud 2s 2d is given for good milling. There is a slight demand for barley for malting at 3s 9d, and for feeding at 2s. Flour is dull at £13. Napieb, Dec. 9. Mr Colenso, in a long letter to the Herald, writes against executing Kereopa. Every exertion is being made to procure prope: evidence for the trial. Commissioner Clark aud nine witnesses are expected by the Keera to-night. At the examination j esterday, Kereopa expressed a desire to be taken and crucified where Volkner was crucified. The Eperaima bridge, 130 feet long, was blown over during the night and totally destroyed. At the cattle sale yesterday, store steers fetched 75s to 90s ; yearlings, 35s to 60s ; sheep are unaltered. Hokitika, Dec. 9. Adelaide flour £16 to £19 ; Canterbury, £15 to £15 10s ; oats, 3s 9d; butter, 6£d ; the market is glutted ; new potatoes, Bs. Wellington, Dec. 9. Mr Eyes, M. H. R., has been appointed Commissiouer of Crown Lands for Marlborough.
