Mails close at the Chief Post-Office as under:— For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, and Africa, America, the West Indies, via San Francisco, also the Sandwich Islands, pc s.s. Phoebe (for transhipment to p.s. Nebraska at Auckland , ) on Saturday, Nov. 25th, at 1 p.m. Newspapers at 12 noon ; money orders and registered letters at 10.30 a.m. For the Northern Provinces of New Zealand, per the s.s. Phoebe, on Saturday, the 25th inst., at 1.30 p.m. Late letters for all the above places will be received till 2 p.m., such letters must bear a single rate above the full postage. F. E. Wright.
