IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled the Regulation of Elections Act, 1858 and of another Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled the Provincial Elections Act, 1858, L, William Donald, Returning Officer for the Provincial Electoral District of Heatheote, hereby give notice, that by virtue of a writ bearing date the twenty-fifth day of March, 1870, i-eued under the hand of Hie Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of three qualified persons to serve as MEMBERS of the Provincial Council of Canterbury for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Road Board Office, Ferry road, at the hour of noon on Monday, the six* teenth day of May, 1870 ; and th»t the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on Wednesday, the eighteenth day of May, 1870. IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858, and of another Aot of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled The Provincial Elections Act, 1858, I William Donald, Returning Officer for the Provincial Electoral District of town of Kaiapoi, do hereby give Notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the twenty-fifth d*y of March, 1870, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve ac MEMBER of the Provincial Council of Canterbury for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's office, Kaiapoi, at the hour of Noon on Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of May, 1870; and that the Poll (if necessary) wiil be taken on Saturday, the twentyeight day of May, 1870.
