Poet Chaxmebs—March 21,10 am, Duke of Edinbargh (barqus), from Newcastle; 8 am, Beautiful Star for Lyttelton via Oamaru ; 5 p ro, Cland Hamilton for Lyttelton. Gsetmoutu—March 21,30 30 am, Wallaby from Westport. The s s Airedale, Captain Kennedy, arrived in hnrbor at 830 am yesterday, from Wellington and Northern ports. Left Manakau on Tuesday 15th, at 7 pm, and arrived at Nelson on Thursday, 17th, at 6am; sailed for Picton on the following day at 8 am, and arrived at 5 pm same day ; arrived at Wei lington at 10 pm on the 18th, and left at 2 20 p in on the 20th for Lyttelton, and arrived as above. We have to thank Mr Adam?, purser, for full files. The Airedale sailed for Dunedin at 1 15 p m yesterday. The schooner Oriti, Captain Beutson, arrived in harbor on Sunday from the Auckland Islands, where she has been on a sealing trip, having stayed there two months, but with little success. Owing to an accident in losing the rudder, she had to bear up for Dunedin on the 23rd February, and experienced strong westerly gales during the passage ; arrived at that port on the 4th Maroh s and repaired damage. After again putting to sea, it was found that one of the pins of the rudder was loose, so put into Lyttelton to repair it. She is bound for Melbourne after leaving this port.
