CRICKET.

A matoh was played on Wednesday last, on the ground of the TJ.C.C.C, between tho Eloven of Christ's Collego Grammar School and an Eleven oomposed of the Masters of tha School and Old Boys. The Masters went in first, and quickly ran up a score of 171, of which 15 were extras. In their first innings the School Eleven only scored 75, of which 23 were made by Willook, who played & very good innings. E. Rutherford, D. Eutherford, and R. Chapman, also reached double figures, making, respectively, 14, 16, and 11. As the Boys were so far behind, they followed their innings, and when time was called they had made 21 runs with the loss of two wickets, Deacon (not out), having made 10.
