The lease consists of nine claims, including the PANAMA ROUTE CLAIM, in all about 16 acres. There is a crushing battery of 1.0 head of stampers, with steam power to drive ten heads more; also, important tramways and carriage appliances. The Company, after prolonged negotiations, were enabled to purchase this field in consequence of the original holders not having command of capital, and it is believed, from results already obtained, that a systematic working will prove highly remunerative. 875 shares are allotted to Canterbury, and full particulars may be obtained from MR W.
