The brig Fawn is rapidly taking in a cargo for Sydney The Spray sailed yesterday for Greymouth with a cargo of produce.
The s s Beautiful Star, Captain Christian, arrived in harbour at five p m yesterday evening. She left the Buller on Monday night the 23rd inst j arrived at Wanganui on Wednesday morning j left on Friday afternoon ; arrived at Wellington early on Saturday morning; left Wellington again at five p m on Monday, and arrived in Lyttelton as above, having experienced fine weather during the passage. We have to thank Mr Houghton, purser, for our usual Northern files. Tho Beautiful Star sails for Dunedin via intermediate ports this day.
