John Davis and James Clark, the latter an old offender, were brought up in custody charged with the above offence. Both pnsonera wpre fined 40a each. BREACH OF THE £IT£ BYE-LAWS. W. Walls and W. Cookson were Jned 10s each for plying for hire without having their names painted on the vehicles.
