SAUCE. LEA AND PERRINS' WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE. Pronounced by Connoisseurs to be the only good Sauce, and applicable to every variety of dish. Extract from a letter from a Medical Gentleman at Madras to his brother at Worcester, May, 1851 :— "Teh Lea and Perrins that their Sauce is highly esteemed in India, and is, in my ! opinion, the most palatable as well as the most wholesome sauce that is made." Caution.— Lea and Perrins beg to caution the public against spurious imitations of their celebrated Worcestershire sauce. L. and P. have discovered that several of the foreign markets have been supplied with spurious imitations, the labels closely resembling those of tho genuine sauce, and in one or more instances tho name of L. and P. forged. CARANGARA BLACK OXIPE OF COPPER POMADE, for the Cure of Baldness, and preventing tho hair falling off. —The wonderful property of the black oxide of copper from the Carangara Mine was accidentally discovered by a miner named John Youille, who, after being completely bald for over twenty years, can now boast of as fine a head of hair as ever graced the head of a king ! entirely through its agency. Since which timo it has effected so many cures of baldness that it has been favourably noticed by all tho leading colonial papers, including the "Sydney Morning Herald " and Melbourne " Argus," and has been justly termed " the most wonderful discovery of the day." The New Zealand public have therefore a remedy which, for the cure of baldness and strengthening the hair, has never been equalled ; one of the best proofs of its efficacy is, that since its discovery, a little over twelvemonths, more than a quarter of a million pots have been sold!
