Late advices from China report that a violent and destructive typhoon had visited the harbour of Ilong-Kong. causing great injury to shipping ports ."Several vessels were driven ashore, and became toral wrecks. Many were badly damaged or disabled, and the destruction among the Chinese craft was very extensive, the shore beinu strewn for miles with fragments and wrecked material. MUNICH. October 10. At the sitting of the Bavarian Diet, yesterday, Prince Hohnl.ihe, Chief Minister of the Cabinet, made a speech in which be declared that the true policy of Bavaria was to seek union with the North German States uuder the presidency of the King of Prussia, and at the same time to take steps for the establishment of a firm and enduring alliance with the Emperor of Austria.
