From the placard outside the Telegraph Station we publish the following arrivals and departures, viz.:— Wellington. Arrived —October 18—8 a.m, Charlotte Andrews from Lyttelton. Sailed —October 17 —8.30 "p.m, Wanganui for Wanganui. PICTON.. . Arrived—October 17 —2 p.m, . Jubilee from Wanganui. BITOF. Arrived—October 17 —4.44 p.m, TarahHlu from Dunedin. The ship Lancashire Witch Bailed for Oalluo at two p.m. yesterday. The e.B. Wainui sailed for Dunedin at ten p.m. on Thursday last, with a full cargo. The Panama, New Zealand, and Australian j Boyal Mail Company's steamship Otngo, Captain Symons, arrived in harbour at noon yesterday from Melbourne via West Coast, Nelson, and Wellington. She left Melbourne on the sth at three p.m., having or. board 133 passengers and 383 tons of cargo; made a splendid run across to Hokitika of four days and twenty-one hours, but was detained there through, the bad state of the bar for three days, and was then obliged to leave for Nelson without Jbaving: any communication with the shore, Hlhe passengers were transhipped to the company's steamer Kgmont, off Hokitika, and cargo carriedon to Nelson and- forwarded back per Phoebe.: Arrived* , at Nelson at two p.m. on the 14th, landed 149 tons of cargo, end Bailed at ten p.m. on 4he 16th. Arrived at Wellington at ten a.m, on the 16th, landed cargo and passengers, and left at five p.m. on the 17th, arriving as above. Had strong southerly Winds from Wellington. The Otago landed a large number of passengers arid a heavy cargo, and sailed fpr. Melbourne Die Otago and Bluff la6t night, haying the Canterbury portion of the Bngiiali mail ma Suez on board. '
