Squared away and ran into Akaroa harbour, where she remained from Wednesday till Monday. On Tuesday got on the, way in company with the barge Black wall and schooner Dart, when a heavy gale of wind was experienced from the west till four am. on the following morning. On Wednesday, the 7th instant, arrived in Boney Bay, where she lay till the 14th instant, when a heavy sea came in, but without sufficient wind to carry a vessel against it. On rhrnvday the sea increased, and on Friday, the 16th, lost starboard anchor and sprung stock of rudder, and eventually had to put into Lytteton harbour fo r repairs The craft. is again in good sailing condition, and is cleared for Timaru.
